Rates:

  • $159 per night for up to four people (Please call to inquire about discounted Winter Rates)
  • $20 per night for extra guest (only one extra guest allowed, for a total of five people in the Suite)
  • Please add 3% Sales Tax
  • Credit Card Processing Fee of 3.5% unless paying with cash or traveler's checks.
  • Price includes a continental breakfast provided in Aurora Suite each morning. This includes juice, milk, coffee/tea, toast, homemade muffins or bagels and cream cheese, plenty of fresh fruit, and condiments.

Reservation Policy:

  • Reservations must be secured with a valid credit card.
  • Full payment is expected upon arrival.
  • Check in is between 5 p.m and 9 p.m. (Self check-in is arranged for late arrivals.)
  • Check out is at 10:00 a.m.
  • A 3.5% processing fee is charged for payment with a credit card.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Your credit card will not be charged anything as long as you give cancellation notice four or more days in advance of your reservation.
  • Your credit card will be charged 50% of the full amount if you give cancellation notice one day to three days in advance of your reservation.
  • Your credit card will be charged the full amount if you fail to show up.

Approximate Distances:

-Southbound from the Anchorage International Airport to Bell in the Woods = 120 miles
-Southbound from Moose Pass to Bell in the Woods = 30 miles
-Northbound from the end of Seward Highway 9 in Seward to Bell in the Woods = 6.5 miles
-Northbound from downtown Seward to Bell in the Woods = 5.5 miles
-Northbound from the Small Boat Harbor area of Seward to Bell in the Woods = 3 miles
-Northbound from the road to Exit Glacier to Bell in the Woods = 2 miles
-Northbound from the road to the Lost Lake Trail to Bell in the Woods = 1 mile

From Anchorage:

  • Travel south on Seward Highway 9.
  • Just prior to our road, you'll cross Bear Creek. Next, a large, blue Visitor's Services sign points the way to Stoney Creek Avenue (formerly Lake Ave). Turn east (left) onto Stoney Creek Avenue.
  • Once you have turned east onto Stoney Creek Avenue, you will immediately cross the Alaska Railroad tracks. CAUTION: There is a stop sign but no crossing gates.
  • Proceed barely 1/4 mile to Bruno Road and turn right.
  • Proceed on Bruno Road less than 1/4 mile to 13881 Bruno Road. We're on the right-hand side of the road. If you cross the one lane bridge, you have gone too far.

From Seward:

  • Travel north on Seward Highway 9.
  • Watch for the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Station on your left. Next, you will cross a small bridge over Salmon Creek.
  • Take the next right turn (heading east) onto Stoney Creek Avenue (formerly Lake Ave).
  • Once you have turned east onto Stoney Creek Avenue, you will immediately cross the Alaska Railroad tracks. CAUTION: There is a stop sign but no crossing gates.
  • Proceed barely 1/4 mile to Bruno Road and turn right.
  • Proceed on Bruno Road less than 1/4 mile to 13881 Bruno Road. We're on the right-hand side of the road. If you cross the one lane bridge, you have gone too far.

Terms of Stay

No pets on premises.
Smoking outside only, in designated areas. All butts to be placed in "Outposts."
Full payment for services rendered to be made upon arrival or prior to first meal.
Caution must be used when going up or down any stairs.
Approach horse and electric fence at YOUR OWN RISK, and absolutely no entering horse corral.
